Flat Between the Inserts for Easy-turning, Edge-to-Edge Goodness
The Raygun POP features a Directional Combination Camber Profile for stability on any terrain. Ten tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers give that "just right" flex that meets the mark for responsiveness and snap, and our Aspen Core strikes the perfect balance between weight, liveliness, and durability.
The K2 Raygun POP combines a classic directional twin shape and progressive Combination Camber Profile that takes on all comers, and will have you blasting your way down open powder fields, perfectly spaced tree runs, and your favorite line in the park. We took the award-winning design of the original K2 Raygun and added camber in between the bindings for extra pop on take-offs and stability while carving or at high speeds, giving it a confidence-boosting, tried-and-true feeling that'll have you pointing it at terrain you never thought possible. Its all-wood core is made from sustainably harvested aspen, providing a snappy and playful feel with a mid-flex for quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and popping off jumps. We use our ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for edge hold through choppy terrain and at high speeds, and added an Extruded 2000 base to provide a smooth and durable ride that'll have you leading your crew to the next secret stash.
With the bravado of a rookie and the know-how of a veteran, the all-mountain K2 Raygun POP packs in the goods you want to level up your snowboarding game.

Many "shaped" snowboards are built to zero-in on one specific riding style. This is NOT one of those snowboards. The K2 Party Platter is purpose-built to be a daily driver for slashing berms, laying down carves, and plowing your way through thigh-deep pow.
To give the directional, mid-flexing Party Platter a versatile and playful feel, we built it on a Combination Camber profile that drops camber in between the feet and mellow rocker just outside of the bindings. This provides stability at higher speeds and allows the edges to track and hold while carving, all while retaining an easy pivoting feel for smooth ground tricks. Our Volume Shift and design minimizes toe and heel drag and provides float in deep snow.
The BAP Core is built from sustainably harvested timber and gives the board a smooth and even flex while absorbing vibration and chatter for control in all conditions. Our Carbon Ollie Bar is strategically placed in between the inserts, giving the Party Platter big-time snap and rebound for launching side hits. We wrap the core with biaxially woven fiberglass for edge-hold that can be fine-tuned by the rider depending on how and where pressure is applied to the board. The icing on the cake is our Sintered 4000 base, composed of a supremely tough and durable material that soaks up wax like a sponge and gives you the speed you want for lacing pow turns or lining up the big jump in the park.
- BAP Core: A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species.
- Biax Glass: A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90° angles provides just the right amount of torsional flexibility and strength.
- Ollie Bar
- Hybritech Sidewall Construction: A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we are able to reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors.
- Sintered 4000 Base: Hard, fast, and durable, our Sintered Base material holds wax better than extruded materials, increasing speed and glide.
- Volume Shift: We reduce swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cms from your usual snowboard length.

The K2 Raygun combines a classic directional twin shape and progressive Combination Camber Profile that takes on all comers, and is the perfect ally for ripping down open powder fields, perfectly spaced tree runs, or your favorite line in the park.
To keep the Raygun predictable and focused on progression, we rely on a Directional Rocker Profile, giving it a confidence-boosting feel by lifting contact points off the snow in the tip and tail. Its Aspen core provides a snappy and playful feel with a mid-flex for quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and pressing on boxes and butters.
We use our ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for edge hold through choppy terrain and at high speeds. And, we added an Extruded 2000 base to provide a smooth and durable feel that'll have you leading your crew to the next secret stash.
The all-mountain Raygun packs premium tech into an affordable package for leveling up your skill set on any terrain the resort has to offer.
- Aspen Core: A single-species lightweight wood core that delivers smooth flex and lively rebound.
- ICG 10 Biax Carbon Glass: Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
- Hybritech Sidewall Construction: A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we are able to reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors.

A versatile board with a classic silhouette and history as a fan-favorite, the K2 Broadcast hits the high mark on feel, response, and performance. Backcountry kickers, side hits, untouched pow fields, fresh corduroy, spring park laps, banked slaloms: the directional K2 Broadcast snowboard has got your back through it all.
The heart of the Broadcast is the BAP Core, consisting of bamboo, aspen, and paulownia: sustainably harvested to provide a smooth feel and snappy flex that's built to stand the test of time. The Combination Camber Profile adds just a bit of rocker to the nose and tail for a predictable feel in deep snow and smooth butters.
We sandwich the core with ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for high speed stability and edge hold through choppy terrain and add three millimeters of taper for a classic feel that gets you out of your turns with silky precision.
