K2 Party Platter
$489.95
Designed to be Ridden Everywhere. Every day. The Party Platter excels on groomed runs by reducing toe and heel drag and really shines in deep and variable snow due to the increased board-to-snow surface area. We used our Ollie Bar for added pop and liveliness for side hits and freestyle riding—add it all up and the result is a snowboard you can consider your all-terrain daily driver. Like the college kid who rages all weekend but pulls straight A's in every class, the K2 Party Platter never ceases to amaze. Many "shaped" snowboards are built to zero in on one specific riding style...this wild child is NOT one of them. The K2 Party Platter is purpose-built for versatility and to be a daily driver for slashing berms, laying down carves, and plowing your way through thigh deep pow. To give the directional, mid-flexing Party Platter a versatile and playful feel, we built it on a Combination Camber profile that drops camber in between the feet and mellow rocker just outside of the bindings. This provides stability at higher speeds and allows the edges to track and hold while carving, while retaining an easy pivoting feel for smooth ground tricks. Our Volume Shift and Tweekend designs combine to minimize toe and heel drag and provide float in deep snow, and to make it easier to hold presses and butters. The BAP Core is built from sustainably harvested timber, and gives the board a smooth and even flex while absorbing vibration and chatter for control in all conditions. Our carbon OllieBar is strategically placed in between the feet, giving the Party Platter big-time snap and rebound for launching side hits, and we wrap the core with biaxially woven fiberglass for edge hold that can be fine-tuned by the rider, depending on how and where pressure is applied to the board. The icing on the cake is our Sintered 4000 base, composed from a supremely tough and durable material that soaks up wax like a sponge and gives you the speed you want for lacing pow turns or sending the big jump in the park. Tap into the versatility of the all-mountain K2 Party Platter. With the feel of a park board and the performance of a pow stick, you may never go back to a traditionally shaped snowboard. - Directional Combination Camber Profile - Volume Shift - Tweekend - Sintered 4000 Base - BAP Core - Biaxial Glass - Ollie Bar - 5/10 Flex
K2 Broadcast
$459.95
Classic Camber and Predictable Performance to Endure the Test of Time The classics never die. Through all the wavy edge experiments, rocker profile tweaks, and wild shape designs, classic camber and predictable performance have endured the test of time. We lean on our tried-and-true BAP Core, ICG carbon-integrated fiberglass, and super-fast Sintered 4000 base on the construction of the Broadcast to create a board that delivers a familiar and confidence-boosting feel for riding all terrain. Extended: The K2 Broadcast is like a best friend you can rely on to get you through anything—a best friend who also happens to carry a set of brass knuckles in their back pocket. Backcountry kickers, side hit specials, untouched pow fields, fresh corduroy, spring park laps, banked slaloms—the directional K2 Broadcast has got your back through it all. Its all-wood BAP Core consists of three species of wood—bamboo, aspen, and paulownia—sustainably harvested to provide a smooth flex that is snappy and built to stand the test of time. The Combination Camber Profile adds just a bit of rocker to the nose and tail and uses Tweekend to blend the rockered zones with the tips of the board for a predictable feel in deep snow and smooth butters and ground tricks. We sandwich the core with ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass for high-speed stability and edge hold through choppy terrain, and add three millimeters of taper for a classic feel that gets you out of your turns with silky precision. A versatile board with a classic silhouette and a history as a fan-favorite, the first day you step onto the K2 Broadcast will mark the beginning of a beautiful board friendship. - Directional - Combo Camber - Tweekend - Biaxial Glass - Sintered 4000 Base - BAP Core - ICG Carbon Glass
