Freestyle Snowboards

$439.95
The Twin that Quickly Became The Team Favorite In The Park and the Streets From back lips to back flips, the K2 Afterblack is a premium freestyle snowboard that specializes in night missions, wall rides, and huge airs, and promises to come through in the clutch to give you the confidence to give it one more go. This freestyle twin features a mid-flex and our Combination Camber Profile—cambered in between the bindings with just the right amount of rocker outside the inserts to give it a playful feeling while still being able to hold speed and track on the big jump line. Its all-wood BAP Core blends three species of sustainably harvested wood—bamboo, aspen, and paulownia—to deliver snappy pop and rebound while damping vibration on drop-ins and long in-runs. Tip-to-tail triaxially woven fiberglass harmoniously integrates with Carbon DarkWeb stringers extending from the binding inserts to both the toe and heel side edges, giving the Afterblack stability and edge control for popping off lips and sending big side hits. To top it off, the fast and durable Sintered 4000 base soaks up wax to ensure you'll have enough speed to send you well past the knuckle and down to the sweet spot in the landing. At the end of the day, we all want a board we can run through the wringer without worrying about it falling to pieces, and the K2 Afterblack is a burly freestyle snowboard that has the tech you need to land your trick when the camera is rolling and the consequence is high. - Twin - Combo Camber - Sintered 4000 Base - BAP Core - Triaxial Glass - Carbon Darkweb - 6/10 Flex

The K2 Afterblack is a premium freestyle snowboard that specializes in night missions, wall rides, huge airs, and promises to come through in the clutch to give you the confidence to give it one more go. Designed for the intermediate-to-expert level snowboarder, the Afterblack is a mid-flexing true-twin with a Combination Camber Profile: with camber in between the bindings and rocker on the outside of the insiders, you get a playful feel while still being able to hold speed and track straight into the next feature. Its tri-blend BAP Core blends bamboo, aspen, and paulownia woods together to deliver snap and rebound while damping vibration on the harshest landings. Wrapping the core, tip-to-tail triaxially woven fiberglass and Carbon DarkWeb gives the Afterblack stability and edge control for popping off lips and sending big side hits, while the fast and durable Sintered 4000 base soaks up wax to ensure you'll have enough speed to send you well past the knuckle and down to the sweet spot in the landing. Australian artist and designer Marcus Dixon illustrated the graphic on this season's Afterblack. A morph of a flaming 8-ball transitioning into a flying eagle is paired with Marcus' rendition on the classic K2 logo. A tonal, and logo-heavy base graphic provides a clean aesthetic that is easy on the eyes. - BAP Core: A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species. - Triax Glass: A fiberglass weave intersecting at three angles provides extra torsional stiffness and overall strength. - Carbon DarkWeb: Carbon stringers extend at 45° angles from the inserts in an "X" pattern, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds. - Hybritech Sidewall Construction: A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we are able to reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors. - Sintered 4000 Base: Hard, fast, and durable, our Sintered Base material holds wax better than extruded materials, increasing speed and glide.

We joined forces with legendary skateboarding pioneer, Tony Hawk, on a very special graphic release on one of our favorite boards. Featuring classic Birdhouse graphics and just the right amount of K2 vibes, this K2 x Tony Hawk collaboration is extremely limited and sure to move fast. Many "shaped" snowboards are built to zero-in on one specific riding style. This is NOT one of those snowboards. The K2 Party Platter is purpose-built to be a daily driver for slashing berms, laying down carves, and plowing your way through thigh-deep pow. To give the directional, mid-flexing Party Platter a versatile and playful feel, we built it on a Combination Camber profile that drops camber in between the feet and mellow rocker just outside of the bindings. This provides stability at higher speeds and allows the edges to track and hold while carving, all while retaining an easy pivoting feel for smooth ground tricks. Our Volume Shift and design minimizes toe and heel drag and provides float in deep snow. The BAP Core is built from sustainably harvested timber and gives the board a smooth and even flex while absorbing vibration and chatter for control in all conditions. Our Carbon Ollie Bar is strategically placed in between the inserts, giving the Party Platter big-time snap and rebound for launching side hits. We wrap the core with biaxially woven fiberglass for edge-hold that can be fine-tuned by the rider depending on how and where pressure is applied to the board. The icing on the cake is our Sintered 4000 base, composed of a supremely tough and durable material that soaks up wax like a sponge and gives you the speed you want for lacing pow turns or lining up the big jump in the park. - CATEGORY: All Mountain, Powder - SHAPE: Directional - FLEX: 6 - CORE: BAP - DIMENSIONS: 31 - 27 - 30mm @ 152cm - GLASS: Biax - ADDITIVE: Ollie Bar - INSERTS: 2 X 4 - WIDTH: Standard - BASE: 4000 Sintered - PROFILE: Combination Camber Technology: - BAP Core: We've blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that's strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials. - Biaxial Glass: Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern. - Sintered 4000 Base: Our Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability. - Ollie Bar: Built in place in a pre-loaded cambered shape and placed between the binding inserts, the Ollie Bar silences the myth that rocker boards don't have the same pop that cambered snowboards do. - Volume Shift: We've moved volume from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed it underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float and stability of a traditional board, but increases mobility and maneuverability. More slashing and better lines in the trees are now a reality. - 2 X 4 Insert Binding Mountain: 2 x 4 Insert packs allow for secure binding mounting while optimizing stance-width options.

A Forgiving Twin Built for The Rider Ready to Progress in the Park As a freestyle staple for nearly two decades, the K2 World Wide Weapon is a jibber's dream. We built the K2 WWW so your presses stay pressed, your butters stay buttery, and every street spot, park jump, and rail line remains fair game. The WWW is a true twin freestyle snowboard with a mellow flex featuring our Combination Camber, with camber between the bindings and mellow rocker outside of the bindings for a stable yet playful feel. Our Tweekend design is blended into the nose and tail, maximizing the amount of surface area that stays in contact with rails or snow when pressing or buttering while reducing the amount of pressure required to press through the end of the feature. We use sustainably harvested aspen on the core of the WWW for smooth flex and durability, and wrap it with biaxially woven fiberglass for edge control and just the right amount of stability. The Extruded 2000 base can take the punishment of daily park laps or urban sessions, ensuring that the K2 World Wide Weapon won't quit until you get your trick. - Twin - Combination Camber - Tweekend - Extruded 2000 Base - Aspen snowboard Core - Biaxial Glass - 4/10 Flex
